Bermuda  Itinerary at Bermuda Institute for Ocean Sciences (BIOS)

Monday April 15:
Meet at RHAM at 3 AM for drive to Logan Airport.   Depart from Logan at 8:00 AM on Delta flight 561.  Arrive in Bermuda at 11:12 AM.  (Bermuda is one hour ahead of CT.)  Check-in at BIOS
Afternoon:   Hike, swim, snorkel equipment check at Whalebone Bay
Evening: Intro lecture on Bermuda

Tuesday April 16:
Morning: Public bus to scavenger hunt in St. George
Afternoon: Public bus to Fort Catherine for snorkel
Evening: lecture on coral and fish ID

Wednesday April 17:
Morning: Public bus to BAMZ (Bermuda aquarium, museum, and zoo)
Afternoon: BIOS boat to North Rock for snorkel
Evening: lecture on Nonsuch and Coopers Islands

Thursday April 18: 
Morning: BIOS bus to Coopers Island for tree planting and trash collection
Afternoon: BIOS boat to Nonsuch Island for hike.  Possible snorkel at Rita Zovetta, based on conditions. Collect plankton on return trip
Evening: plankton analysis in the lab

Friday April 19: 
Morning:  Public bus to kayak trip
Afternoon: BIOS bus to hike at Walsingham caves
Evening: campfire at Whalebone Bay

Saturday April 20: 
Pack and compose outline for reflection on trip.
Depart from Bermuda at 12:05 PM on Delta flight 560.  Arrive at Logan airport at 1:25 PM.

Monday April 22: reflection essay due at school.
